Who is Hannah Stocking?
Hannah Stocking (full name Hannah Stocking-Siagkris, born February 4, 1992) is an American comedian, actress and internet personality. She grew up in Ashland, Oregon, where she played varsity volleyball at Ashland High School before moving to California for college.
At Dominican University of California she studied biology and chemistry while continuing to play volleyball. That science background still shows up in her comedy: several of her best-known videos explain what happens in the brain and body during everyday moments like heartbreak or falling in love.
She posted her first Vine in 2013 and quickly built an audience with fast, physical six-second sketches. When Vine closed she moved to YouTube, where her longer sketches, produced with Shots Studios, regularly pass millions of views. She frequently works with fellow creators such as Lele Pons, Anwar Jibawi and Rudy Mancuso, and appeared in the music video for Blink-182's "She's Out of Her Mind".
Today her channel has more than 10 million subscribers and over 5 billion views, with new Shorts published almost every day.
